What is the Ideal Number of Steps As Per Vastu?

As per Vastu, number of steps should always be ODD. Why? Odd number ends with your right foot (positive foot) on the top landing.

• 1st Floor (10 ft height): 15 or 21 steps ideal
• 2nd Floor (20 ft height): 27 or 33 steps ideal
• NEVER 0: The total should never end with 0 (e.g., 10, 20, 30 are worst). If your steps are even, add 1 wooden/metal plank as remedy.

Clockwise vs Anti-Clockwise Staircase – Which is Best?

• Clockwise (Best): When you go up, you turn to your right. This is auspicious. It follows Sun’s path.
• Anti-Clockwise (Avoid): Goes left. Causes career delays and confusion. If you already have it, place 2 brass pyramids under the first and last step.

What Should You Keep Under Staircase?
